The Society of African-American Professionals (SOAAP) is taking an active role
in leveraging Boys & Girls Clubs of America national and regional events
and platforms to promote the mission and purpose of the Society.
- Hosts reception and breakfast at Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Conferences.
- Features keynote speakers at SOAAP breakfast at National Conference Presents historical workshops
at Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Conference.
- Hosts receptions and/or sessions at Regional Conferences.
- Conduct workshops and trainings on issues relevant to being a Club Professional at Local, Regional and National levels.
- Operates SOAAP booth at various B&GCA forums.
- Encourages participation in Career Assistance Network for mentoring opportunities.
- Encourages enrollment into the Academy of Boys & Girls Club Professionals.
